Why is the Scanhancer named 5LE?

Butterfly RemainsMany Scanhancer prototypes were beta tested. One of them was almost (but not just) what we needed to meet the different requirements. It was called no. 5. The 5LE is a light edition of that type of Scanhancer. On the internet sometimes people speak about the 3LE. It is the name of the first Scanhancer that was to be released publicly, but in our view it failed the beta-testing by American photographer Frank Ward, although he was quite enthusiastic. (For his work see: www.culturalvisions.com) So we decided to withdraw the 3LE and replaced it with the 5LE shortly after.
